Working with Arkiter has been great. The platform satisfies all our needs, and at a fraction of the cost of our previous solution, CoderPad. The development team is remarkably open to feedback and they ship incredibly fast. Highly recommend it for live coding interviews!
Before using Arkiter, we found CoderPad to be way too expensive for the value it provided. Additionally, being a bigger company, CoderPad was less responsive to our needs. Arkiter proved to be a much better partner in both aspects, earning an 8 out of 10 for resolving this problem.
The aspects of Arkiter we found particularly good included: Ease of Setup, Ease of Use and Ease of Tracking (in one view) - will rate 8/10.
However, there are areas for improvement. The UX can definitely be improved as some tasks require too many clicks and typing, and the UX isn’t well thought out end-to-end.
Since I only used live coding, I don't have enough information to rate the overall skill assessment accuracy or the accuracy for the hired candidate. However, I would definitely consider using Arkiter again for future hires, rating it an 8 out of 10 for future use likelihood.
Considering the charge, the value received from Arkiter was excellent, earning a 9 out of 10. I would also rate the likelihood of recommending Arkiter to a friend or colleague an 8 out of 10.
